It’s a real pleasure for me to welcome you on the site of the UN System in Mali; an unprecedented mirror of the action of the various UN agencies and Institutions serving the Malian population. 

Concerning  poverty alleviation, improvement of the educational and health systems, rural development or the environment, the UN Organisation, present for many years in Mali, has not ceased to work in favor of the populations through its different agencies, each acting according to its respective mandate. 

In support of the efforts of the Malian government, and in continuous concertation with civil society and the private sector, many programmes have been launched, in various domains such as the control of HIV/AIDS, the promotion of human rights, food security, reproduction health, girl's education, economic and local governance, gender equity or prevention of conflicts, among others. This site intends to reflect on these various actions.                 

I therefore cordially invite you to scan these few pages, which will give you an idea of the relevance and diversity of the initiatives developed and implemented  by all the UN Agencies and Institutions in Mali.
